Carle Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource for staff and students. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

The role emphasizes individualized care, collaboration with families, and education on home programs. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing care plans, documentation in therapy EMR, and ongoing professional development to meet senior status requirements in therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with IDFPR licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all continuing education regarding care of acute stroke patients.

Responsibilities

• Collects case history information and integrates information from patients, family, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Conducts assessment procedures for speech and language pathology and uses appropriate materials and instrumentation.
• Develops and implements a setting-appropriate plan of care with measurable goals and collaborates with patients and relevant others.
• Interprets, integrates, and synthesizes information to develop a treatment plan and recommendations.
