Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist in North Royalton, Ohio. You will assess residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and families. The role includes supervising CFYs or students, providing in-services, and documenting care in medical records.

You will educate residents and caregivers, facilitate equipment orders for swallowing and cognition, and support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a preference for higher degrees.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care documentation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret clinical procedures and policies.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY-Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and maintain infection control standards.
