Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY - Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Provide training/in-services for staff and maintain compliant documentation.
