Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, and to communicate with families, physicians, and the health team. You will maintain documentation of services in medical records and participate in in-services for facility staff.

Additionally, you will supervise CFY clinicians and students, provide training on therapy programs, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements while promoting safe, effective care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to identify speech therapy needs and set goals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY and students in resident care activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete timely, compliant documentation and maintain safety standards.
