Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, coordinate with the care team, and maintain precise documentation. You will participate in training for staff and supervise CFY students, ensuring high standards of patient care.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology (or near completion), state licensure, and proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care. On-site facility work with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed Speech Therapist with CE requirements and state licensure

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY- Speech Clinical Fellows and students where applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on goals, home exercise programs, and safety strategies.
