Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, plan and implement therapy, and educate staff. You will work closely with families and a medical team to ensure progress toward goals and safe, compliant care.

The role requires a state license, possible supervision of CFY or students, and proficiency with clinical documentation and healthcare software. Strong communication and infection control practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State license required; CEU maintenance.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• CPR certification as required by licensure.
• Supervision of CFY or students may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Complete timely, compliant documentation per regulations.
