Job summary

Sunset Villa Post Acute Long Beach Healthcare, LLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and lead therapy services within our post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
• Must meet continuing education requirements per state.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding goals and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
