Job summary

Corewell Health is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy based on patient needs and medical direction at our Ludington site. The role includes educating patients and caregivers and coordinating adaptive equipment when required.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred, and at least 2 years of related experience. Michigan licensure and appropriate certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Master's degree preferred; Doctorate preferred (in SLP).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) required after 1 year.
• Licensed in Michigan (State MI) Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Educate patients and caregivers and arrange adaptive equipment as needed.

Scope of Work

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.

Standard Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
• Preferred Master's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
• Preferred Doctorate Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
• 2 years of relevant experience of related experience Required
• CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association 1 Year required
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines

Upon Hire required

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
