Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct speech therapy to patients under physician referral, in accordance with all laws and Life Care standards.

Requirements include a MS/MA in SLP, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure. CPR certification is required by hire and ongoing. New grads welcome, with preferred one year of experience.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility is required or planned.
• Must hold current state licensure and maintain it.
• CPR certification required by hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaises with patients, families, and departments to plan for patient needs.
• Follow treatment plans under supervision of SLP CCC/CFY.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
