Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians. The role supports post-acute care goals and requires thorough ASHA credentials and active state licensure.

The SLP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, and follow all applicable regulations. New grads welcome; CPR training is required or provided on orientation.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility for certification required.
• Active state licensure in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information and follows company policies
• Chart appropriately and timely; uses therapy software accurately
• Exhibits strong customer service and teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting
• Demonstrates professional conduct and adherence to Life Care’s Code of Conduct
