Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy upon physician referral. You will work within post-acute care settings, maintaining ASHA credentials and state licensure while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include planning for patient needs, charting, using therapy software, and ensuring patient rights and safety. New grads welcome; CPR required and maintained.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility.
• Active state license and ongoing ASHA credentialing.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and maintained.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters or projects as appropriate.
• Ability to plan for patient needs with liaisons to patients and families.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics and professional conduct.
• Make independent decisions when warranted by circumstances.
• Follows laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care.
• Implements department goals, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; work on an interdisciplinary team.
