Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians, in line with laws and Life Care standards.

Requirements include an MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, and CPR certification. One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome. Proficiency in Word/Excel and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY; maintain credentialing.
• Active state licensure and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals for patients.
• (SLP CCCs) oversee and evaluate care by SLP CFYs.
• (SLP CFY) follow treatment plans under supervision and in accordance with guidelines.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and safety during care.
