Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services to children 0-21 in home health and day-time facilities. The role involves evaluating, treating, and coordinating care with families and a multidisciplinary team.

You will build individualized therapy programs, document progress, and mentor junior staff when needed. The organization emphasizes patient-centered care, professional growth, and supportive supervision for clinicians.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Texas state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with pediatric populations required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Feeding experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience

Requirements

• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
