Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric services in patients’ homes and daytime facilities. You will conduct assessments, develop tailored therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reach patient goals.

Responsibilities include diagnostic interpretation, staff education, and potential supervision of junior clinicians. Texas licensure and pediatric/home health experience are highly valued; Spanish-speaking skills

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
  • Licensed to practice SLP in Texas at time of hire.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations required.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Feeding experience a plus; bilingual Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facility for ages 0–21, 2+ visits per week as ordered.
  • Assess speech, language, voice, feeding, swallowing, and related disorders using appropriate tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and write reports for the care team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan goals and train staff/customers in speech modalities.
  • Adjust plans to meet therapy goals and improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients; deliver training and create resources.
  • May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years experience.

Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
  • License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
  • Experience in pediatrics required
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Feeding Experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
