Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the San Ramon, CA area. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy in a collaborative clinician-led team.

The role focuses on building communication skills, creating IEP goals, and coordinating with educators and families to promote student success. A competitive compensation package includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility).
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

What You’ll Do:
