Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students across the Central Valley, including Modesto. Join a clinician-led team dedicated to service delivery, collaboration, and measurable outcomes in classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech and language evaluations and develop IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists and school staff to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and other assistive technologies as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
