Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the San Jose area. The role delivers evaluations, therapeutic services, and IEP goals to enhance communication in the classroom.

Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and staff; participate in IEP meetings; maintain documentation; and use AAC tools when needed. The position offers competitive pay, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and professional mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• SLP Services Credential through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
