Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in San Jose, CA. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy, collaborating with teachers and staff to help students improve communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CA SLP License or eligibility required.
• SLP Services Credential through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with various communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

What You’ll Do:
