Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ESSA qualified: two years of college/associate degree or Parapro/Praxis score 460+.
• CPR & First Aid within 2 months of hire; Safety Care Training; Health Services Training.
• Effective communication in English; reading, writing, and grammar proficiency.
• Basic math skills; ability to work with fractions, percentages, and ratios.
• Experience with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise students in general education classes per IEP needs.
• Support students with health care needs, including feeding and toileting as required.
• Provide 1:1 or small group instruction to meet IEP goals and data collection.
• Document duties to support Medicaid funding and perform clerical tasks.
• Help students safely board and exit buses in AM/PM and monitor activities.
• Administer assessments under teacher direction and track progress.
