Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Centennial High School for the 2026-27 school year. You will assist teachers, support students with significant needs, and help ensure access to the general education curriculum.

Responsibilities include implementing instructions, assisting with personal care, behavior supports, and data collection for IEPs. Training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPI training within 3 months of hire is required.
• Special Education Paraprofessional Academy classes are expected in the first 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by implementing instruction and adapting materials for students with significant support needs.
• Provide personal care, hygiene, and mobility support as needed.
• Monitor safety, document progress, and support crisis interventions when required.
• Help students develop self-regulation, social, and daily living skills.
• Participate in IEP goals, behavior plans, and collaboration with staff.
