Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Paraprofessional Integrated Services II for Centennial High School in Fort Collins to support students with significant disabilities in a multi‑categorical program. The role includes instructional support, personal care, behavior interventions, and collaboration with teachers and nursing staff to meet IEP goals.

The position is non-exempt, 7.5 hours/day, 186 workdays, with benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement, PTO, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• CPI and specialized training may be required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by providing instructional and personal support for students with significant needs.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and support safety.
• Monitor and supervise students in various settings and during transitions.
• Assist with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and health care plans as needed.
• Utilize assistive tech and CPI techniques when required.
• Maintain records on behavior, progress, and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with staff to implement IEP goals and crisis plans.
• Support development of self-regulation and daily living skills.
• Attend trainings and participate in meetings as required.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe learning environment.
