Qualifications

• Assist teachers by providing instructional and physical support for students with significant needs.
• Help with personal care, social skills, and self-awareness throughout the day.
• Assist with accommodations, materials, clerical tasks, and student monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by implementing instruction and reinforcing learning goals.
• Implement behavior strategies and support student safety.
• Monitor students across classrooms and transitions; enforce safety.
• Provide hands-on support with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and health plans.
• Use assistive technology and augmentative communication as needed.
• Maintain records on student behavior and progress.
