Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to assist teachers in supporting students with significant needs at Poudre High School. You will aid with instruction, personal care, and behavioral support to help students participate in the general education curriculum.

Responsibilities include implementing interventions, monitoring safety, maintaining records for IEPs, and collaborating with nursing and mental health staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or acceptable alternative.
• Two years of higher education may satisfy parity for Title I postings.

Responsibilities

• Assist general or special education teachers to support students with significant needs.
• Provide personal care, social skills coaching and self‑regulation support.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation for IEP meetings.
• Assist with crisis prevention, de‑escalation and safety procedures as needed.
• Support hygiene, mobility, feeding and medical delegation with nursing staff guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, mental health staff and case managers on IEP goals.
