Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Associate degree or higher from a GA PSC-approved college/university.
• 60 sem. hours or 90 quarter hours with GPA 2.0+.
• Valid GA PSC-approved paraprofessional certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in meeting educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Assists students with IEP-driven goals and provides direct instructional support.
• Assists with health-related and personal care tasks as trained.
• Maintains a safe, structured learning environment and supports classroom management.
• Performs data collection and progress monitoring under supervision.
