Job summary

You will implement rigorous academic and behavior interventions alongside an experienced special educator to drive student achievement and family engagement in this dynamic urban district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 60 college credits or an associate degree.
• Passing score on ParaPro or WorkKeys.
• US work authorization by start date.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small caseload of students under guidance of a special educator.
• Implement rigorous academic and behavior intervention systems.
• Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations for students.
• Support student mastery of standards with families and teachers.
• Lead daily tutoring sessions with students individually or in small groups.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
