Job summary

The role partners with a classroom teacher to deliver targeted tutoring and to drive student achievement.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, plus 60 college credits or an associate degree and a ParaPro or WorkKeys credential.

Qualifications

• A high-school diploma or GED is required.
• 60 credited hours or an Associate’s degree preferred.
• Formal ParaPro or WorkKeys certification is required or demonstrated equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Support a small caseload of students under a special educator.
• Implement rigorous academic and behavior intervention systems.
• Lead tutoring sessions and communicate with families and colleagues.
• Ensure alignment with state, city, and school standards.
