Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to drive requirements and backlog for advanced waveform software and firmware. You’ll bridge DoD mission needs with R&D and go-to-market teams, shaping operator-friendly features and ensuring robust integrations with MN-MIMO hardware.

The role reports to the Director of Product Management and requires translating complex algorithms into actionable software specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
• Strong working knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Proven ability to translate highly complex mathematical algorithms, scientific concepts, or military use cases into structured, clear software requirements and user stories.
• Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations, and sales teams to meet release timelines.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Translate DoD mission requirements and signal analysis concepts into structured user stories and specifications.
• Translate LPI/LPD and anti-jam techniques into features with intuitive operator experiences.
• Own end-to-end software and firmware backlog for spectrum dominance features.
• Ensure waveforms integrate with MN-MIMO architecture and StreamCaster hardware.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences to deliver updates.
