Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The role involves preparing specimens for analysis, routing and labeling specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs, ability to work Monday–Friday 2pm–10:30pm with rotating weekends, and a high attention to detail in a team environment. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Raleigh, NC
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm with rotating weekends as needed.
Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
