Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our specialty and inpatient Pharmacy teams. Under Pharmacist supervision, you will assist in delivering pharmaceutical care and take-home medications for in-house patients, while supporting quality control processes across drug distribution technologies.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, OH registration, and current or soon-to-be PTCE/PTCB certifications.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
18 years of age or older with no felonies per Ohio law.
Current/active PTCB Certification or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire.
Current Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration as a Technician or Trainee.
Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in pharmaceutical care for specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
Delivers medications and related take-home services to in-house patients.
Assists Pharmacists in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
Upholds the MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
