The MetroHealth System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support specialty and inpatient pharmacies, delivering medication-related services to patients and assisting with take-home medications. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacists and upholding MetroHealth standards of care.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and either PTCB/ExCPT certification within 90 days or active Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration with a plan to obtain certification.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification from PTCB or ExCPT must be obtained within 90 days of hire or held at start.
• Active Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration or eligibility to obtain it within 90 days.
• Willingness to travel to external satellite locations and have reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists in quality control for drug distribution technologies and adheres to MetroHealth standards.
