The MetroHealth System in Cleveland Heights is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pediatric, critical care, oncology, and inpatient pharmacy operations under supervision of a Pharmacist. You will assist with dispensing medications and providing medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.

Experience handling sterile IV products is preferred; attention to accuracy, safety, and customer service are essential in this role within a major urban health system.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalence.
• 18 years of age or older, no felony convictions.
• PTCB certification or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire; maintains certification.
• Currently registered as a Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy, or will become registered within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, supports pediatric, critical care, oncology and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and takes-home medications.
• Assists Pharmacists with quality control for drug distribution technologies.
