Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current/active PTCB certification or obtain certification within 90 days of hire; maintains certification.
• ExCPT certification from NHA; maintains active status.
• Active Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration or becomes registered Certified Pharmacy Technician within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in delivery of pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.
• Assists pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
