Job summary

The MetroHealth Medical Center is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to work in its specialty pharmacies (Pediatric, Critical Care, Oncology) and inpatient pharmacy under a Pharmacist's supervision. You will deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and assist with related take-home medications.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ with no felony, and certification (PTCB/ExCPT) within 90 days or Ohio Board registration; availability to travel to satellite locations

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED completed.
18 years of age or older with no felony convictions per Ohio Rev. Code 4729.42.
Certification: PTCB or ExCPT within 90 days of hire; maintains certification.
Currently registered or becomes registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days; maintains active registration.
Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations.

Responsibilities

Under supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and related take-home medication services.
Assists Pharmacists in quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
Upholds the MetroHealth System's mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
