Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to coordinate care for patients with complex diagnoses such as transplant, HIV, MS and cancer. You will partner with providers, clinical staff, and payers to ensure timely, affordable access to high-dollar medications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 4-5 years as a pharmacy technician.
• Combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients with complex conditions (transplant, HIV, MS, cancer).
• Serve as primary contact for patients and providers.
• Bridge between providers, pharmacies, billing, social services, and patient communities.
• Utilize specialized tools to improve prescription capture and adherence.
• Understand pharmacy billing and insurance authorization processes.
