Job summary

CommonSpirit Health Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to provide intensive patient care management for complex therapies, acting as a liaison between providers, patients, pharmacy, billing and other stakeholders.

You will ensure medications are delivered on time and affordable, coordinate to increase prescription capture, adherence and retention, and bring expertise in specialty pharmacy operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus 4–5 years as a pharmacy technician
• PHARMTECH:XX; CPTEXCPT; CPTPTCB; CPHT licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Act as an insurance specialist by expediting the prescription filling process and verifying coverage and eligibility
• Initiate and assist with Prior Authorization and Patient Financial Assistance processes
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, providers and others to support the Specialty Pharmacy program
