Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years retail or specialty pharmacy technician experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in good standing per state law.
• Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Process specialty medication prescriptions accurately and timely.
• Manage prior authorizations and benefits verification with insurance providers.
• Communicate with patients regarding therapy, dosage, and delivery schedules; assist pharmacists with follow-up.
• Assist with clinical documentation and ensure patient advocacy and privacy.
• Navigate complex insurance and patient support programs to ensure access to medications.
