Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to partner with providers, clinical staff and payers, coordinating care for patients on high-dollar medications to ensure timely access and affordability.

You will manage the intensive patient care process as the primary contact for patients undergoing transplant, HIV, MS, cancer and other serious conditions, advocating across pharmacies, billing, social services and clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–8 years as Pharmacy Technician with specialty pharmacy exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for high-need patients through multi-stakeholder collaboration.
• Serve as primary contact for patients undergoing complex therapies.
• Improve prescription capture and medication adherence through specialized tools.
• Balance provider, billing, social services, and patient needs to ensure seamless care.
• Support pharmacy billing and insurance authorization processes.
