Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to lead relationships with healthcare providers in Chattanooga/Knoxville, TN. You will drive sales objectives in psychiatry/neurology, oncology, urology, and women's health, leveraging a strong clinical understanding and market analytics.

You will travel 60–80% of the time, develop strategic plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maximize market share and ensure compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business/marketing or related field; pharma sales experience is a plus.
• 2+ years pharma sales experience with a proven track record.
• Experience in Urology and with pharmaceutical launches is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships with customers based on clinical and market expertise.
• Increase market share by closing new business in new and existing accounts.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and compliant planning and execution.
• Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
