Job summary

Amgen is hiring Specialty Representatives/Senior Specialists in the United States to connect with medical professionals, share clinical product knowledge, and navigate payer environments. The role emphasizes territory sales, program delivery, and account management to drive product access and value for patients.

Responsibilities include communicating clinical benefits, leading branded sales programs, managing accounts, and contributing to ongoing territory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Preferred qualifications include pharma/biotech sales experience, product or hospital sales exposure, and strong influencing/relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messages and programs
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including product access and reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold the Amgen brand
