LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA is hiring a Specialty Machine Level I to set up and operate advanced machines (multi-spindle, CNC, Euro-turns) and to meet company targets. The role requires reading blueprints, tool instructions, and performing quality checks with precision measuring tools.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of relevant experience and training in machining. Safety, quality, and process adherence are essential in this on-site Torrance, CA role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use shop and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains at least 2 automatic multi-spindle screw or CNC machines.
• Starts machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample parts for conformity.
• Performs SPC checks per specifications and takes corrective actions.
• Reads blueprints or job orders for product specs and tooling instructions.
• Inspects parts using micrometers and gauges to ensure specifications.
