Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Torrance, CA seeks a Production Specialty Machine Level I to perform basic set-ups and operate multiple specialty machines to meet company targets.

You will run at least three machines (Threadroll, Grind, Heading, Tooling, CNC, and Multi-span). Ensure quality by inspecting parts and adhering to LEAP and GAP standards while maintaining safety and data records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years experience and/or training in aerospace fastener manufacturing or related.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates three specialty machines to produce parts per blueprints and instructions.
• Recognizes and remedies in-tolerance conditions and adjusts controls as needed.
• Performs trial runs to verify machine settings and programmed data.
• Inspects parts for conformance using gauges and SPC data.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping while following procedures.
