Job summary

LISI Aerospace is seeking a Production Specialty Machine Level I to set up and run three specialty machines, ensuring parts meet blueprints and specifications. The role involves basic tooling checks, minor adjustments, and cooperation with the Manufacturing team for procedure documentation.

The position requires basic inspection, the ability to read blueprints, and a focus on quality and safety. Shift is Monday–Thursday, with a second shift allowance and DOE compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years experience in aerospace fastener manufacturing or related.
• Experience with manufacturing environment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic sets ups and operates 3 specialty machines to produce parts per blueprints and specs.
• Recognizes and corrects out-of-tolerance conditions and adjusts controls as needed.
• Performs trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings and data.
• Inspects parts using gauges and SPC to ensure conformance.
• Maintains safety procedures and reports issues to supervision.
