Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA is seeking a General Operator I to run production machines and measure parts to target specifications. You will drill, mill, deburr, assemble, and inspect using calipers and micrometers, while following SOPs and safety rules.

You’ll record data and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced shop. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years in manufacturing, with ability to read blueprints and interpret manufacturing orders.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints or MO for product specifications.
• Inspects product using calipers, micrometers, scales.
• Documents in-process inspection data and measurements.
• Follows SOPs and 5S and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates secondary production machines under supervision per SOPs and work instructions.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Reads MO for product specifications and tooling requirements.
• Inspects products for conformance using precision measuring tools.
• Records measurements, inspections, and production times.
• Stops machine and notifies Lead/Supervisor when non-conformances are found.
