Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Operator I to set up and operate single- and multi-spindle machines, read blueprints, and follow established programs to produce precision parts.

You will perform tool changes, offsets, and quality inspections, maintain housekeeping per 5S, and work with senior staff to troubleshoot and improve processes in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years operating CNC/milling and/or turning machinery in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate single- and multi-spindle CNC equipment to manufacture parts per drawings and specs.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, speeds/feeds, and program edits as needed.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts with precision gauges during production.
• Troubleshoot machining/tooling issues and adjust setups to maintain quality.
• Run multiple machines, meet production targets, and reduce downtime.
• Maintain 5S, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement.
