Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Torrance, CA is seeking a Production Machine Trainee to perform basic set-ups and operate multiple production machines, ensuring parts meet blueprints and specifications. You will work under supervision, document procedures, and assist the Manufacturing team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in aerospace manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and a strive for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in aerospace fastener manufacturing or related environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate up to three automatic machines to produce parts per blueprints and instructions.
• Identify and correct out-of-tolerance conditions; adjust controls as needed.
• Record data and maintain SPC/shop floor records; ensure parts meet specifications.
• Support safety and HSE procedures and participate in continuous improvement activities.
