Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking an Expediter – Specialty to ensure smooth flow of restaurant food orders from receipt to delivery. You will verify orders, garnish plates, and keep the prep station stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include confirming tickets with servers, presenting dishes, assisting with table delivery, liaising between kitchen and servers, knowing menus and ingredients, and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS Certification required.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training required on hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify food order tickets and prepare exact orders for server pickup.
• Verify quality and presentation of food.
• Expedite orders to tables as needed and deliver to guests.
• Liaise between the server and the kitchen; know table and seat numbers.
• Maintain prep station cleanliness and stock; rotate inventory.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
