Job summary

Maverick Gaming in West Wendover, NV is hiring a Food Expediter to connect kitchen and front-of-house service. You will ensure orders are accurate, properly prepared, and presented, while coordinating timing across stations and communicating clearly with staff.

Ideal candidates demonstrate urgency without sacrificing quality, possess strong organizational and verbal skills, and can work nights and weekends in a fast-paced dining environment. Prior restaurant experience is preferred.

• Previous restaurant, food runner, server, cook, expo, or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Fine dining experience is strongly preferred for Steakhouse Expediter assignments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming food orders and kitchen tickets.
• Organize and prioritize tickets based on order time and service requirements.
• Coordinate timing between grill, fry, sauté, pantry, and other production stations.
• Identify unusually long ticket times and communicate delays to kitchen/leadership.
• Verify correct menu items, table/seat info, temperatures and doneness.
• Confirm guest modifications, substitutions, and allergy instructions.
• Maintain professional communication with cooks and servers; assist with food running.
