Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Specialty Clinic Lead to support daily specialty clinic operations and mentor staff. The role focuses on coordinating clinic activities, improving workflows, and delivering outstanding patient experiences in collaboration with physicians and visiting specialty teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Medical Assistant with CCMA certification and at least five years in clinical support, including leadership or preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of Medical Assistant experience preferred, including experience serving as a preceptor, trainer, mentor, or lead resource for staff.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with patients, providers, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day specialty clinic operations under departmental leadership.
• Support clinic schedules, patient flow, room utilization and operational processes.
• Serve as lead resource for clinical and support staff; onboarding and training support.
• Monitor patient scheduling, registration, clinic workflows, and daily operations for improvements.
• Escalate issues to the Director when needed; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
