Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Special Procedures RN for Urgent Care in Norwood, MA. You will support pre- and post-procedure care and provide intra-procedural nursing support across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities include IV sedation support, monitoring, education, and collaboration with a care team to ensure safe procedures. Strong RN background and MA licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in MA and an accredited RN education program are required.
• BLS is required; ACLS may be needed depending on specialty.
• 3+ years of med/surgical or ambulatory nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure assessment and intra-procedural care.
• Support procedural flow and safety in GYN, oral/maxillofacial, oncology and GI areas.
• Administer medications, IV placement, injections, wound care and EKGs.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care and document confidential information.
• Maintain safety standards, credentialing, and participate in quality initiatives.
