Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Special Procedure Nurse to support pre- and post-procedure care in a collaborative unit. You will assist in GYN Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial, Oncology and GI procedures, with emphasis on IV sedation and post‑op monitoring.

Requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and 3+ years of relevant experience; per diem schedule across open weekdays and weekends. A dynamic team and ongoing professional growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed an accredited Registered Nurse education program.
• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in MA.

Responsibilities

• Support the procedural process as part of a collaborative care team.
• Organize resources and activities to ensure safe, efficient procedural flow.
• Provide specialty‑specific care including pre‑op assessment, IV moderate sedation, intra‑procedural support, and post‑op monitoring.
